My very first wheel came to me quite spontaneously. I first started with drop spindle and was quite content to stick with that. I had the intention of being quite old school, and just sticking with it. That was until i discovered the economy of the raw fleece. Quickly, my collection grew and it became almost necessary to procure myself a spinnning wheel. It would get the job done a bit quicker.
